Bitcoin Education for El Salvador’s Youth
El Salvador’s Bitcoin Beach movement is introducing the country’s youth to Bitcoin (BTC) by providing them with after-school programs that teach them about money, digital currencies and other life skills. With over 25,000 students receiving this education in the classroom, these educational initiatives are laying out a framework for many of the underprivileged kids in El Salvador to have a better shot at life.
The Benefits of Teaching Kids About Money
Roman Martínez, a community leader of Bitcoin Beach, believes early-age education on Bitcoin and money may give these kids a better chance at success. He notes that no one teaches you about money and transactions yet it is something we do every day – work for money, save money etc., “If you want to make a change people and families need to learn about money.” Martínez also states that those who know English, computer skills and marketing will be able to work remotely from anyone around the world due to their knowledge of Bitcoin.
The After School Program
Every Friday members of El Salvador’s Bitcoin Beach visit schools and talk about dreams while they help kids set up wallets and receive their first satoshi. They also explain how using digital currency such as BTC can benefit them now and later on in life when they enter the job market or look for financial opportunities outside their home country.
Bitcoin – The Latest Evolution Of Money
Martínez believes by teaching kids about the benefits of digital currencies like BTC he will be able provide them with better employment opportunities later on down the line once they leave school: “Bitcoin is the latest evolution of money” he says. By having an understanding of both traditional banking systems as well as cryptocurrency , these children will be more likely take advantage of both options depending on what best suits their needs.
Conclusion
The importance teaching our youth about cryptocurrencies cannot be understated; it has become increasingly clear that there are financial tools available outside traditional banking systems which can help them reach greater heights than ever before if used wisely. By helping children understand these new technologies early-on we can ensure they’ll have access to all available resources when making decisions regarding their financial future going forward – starting right here in El Salvador!
